The Book from which the Stanzas have been taken, H.P.B. tells us, " is not in the possession of European libraries and is utterly unknown to our philologist, or at any rate was never heard of by them under its present name.  The Book of Dzyan- from the Sanskrit word 'dhyana' ( mystic meditation) is the first volume of the Commentaries  (in fourteen volumes) upon the seven secret folios of Kiu-ti, and a glossary of the public works of the same name. .........
